Is There Anyone Left? (original song)

IS THERE ANYONE LEFT
by SB Galt

Lyrics:

anyone left there inside,
anyone left alive?
will I hear your whispers,
or the deafening wail of sirens?
tell me is there anyone inside?

I know you waited for me here,
blind by your tears,
all alone, all these years,
could I lose you dear,
when I am so near?

thought I might forget you in time,
you never even left my mind.
now I've come to find you,
but I fear I've come too late,
tell me there's one life left to save...

no, this don't stop here,
though we're long past hope,
because you and I know it's meant to be...

and if all I have found is silent now,
then I'll lay down too,
near you.

SHIFT HAPPENS

Dear Reader(s),

Did you know.....?
That's a loaded question.
What someone asks you that question,
it means they know,
and you don't.
So, I thought I would share this.
After you watch it, you will know.
And then you can say
the Punchline:
NOW YOU KNOW!

Have a great day dear reader(s),

Signing out,

Tom and Gaby

Hello World!

Hello World!

There's a blog born every half second...

This blog, Tom and Gaby in Chile, has joined the world of bloggers.

This blog will be my vehicle for sharing my two passions, English Language Teaching and my family, with you.

The unassuming title is meant to do just what it says, namely, be a coproduction of my wife and myself.

Gaby, my wife, is a bilingual secretary and currently completing her third year of university studies in business administration.

We both live in Santiago, Chile and thoroughly enjoy the hustle, bustle, stress and duress of city life in a major Latin American city.

We hope you will drop in from time to time as we begin to share our world with you all.

Right now we are going to open the champagne as we hope to assume our status as digital immigrants and celebrate our new blog.

Maybe this blog will help me to reduce the technological gap between myself, the digital immigrant, and my students, the digital natives....

To you, faithful reader, I say Hello.

There will be more tomorrow.

Signing out,
Tom
